Here are the answers to your questions......
Avent was tossed for arguing that his pitcher was tossed (as he should have argued that).
That was not an assistant coach, it was the pitcher that was ejected for the high/tight pitch near the head.
It was not all NC State students......it was a blend of three or four students from both State and VT.
Nothing happening to the Pack. Conduct will have nothing to do with the football game. At least, they will have nothing to do with one another. Frankly speaking, the umpire last night probably agitated the situation. Yes, the pitch following the home run was up and in, and to high. And I am sure they were tired of seeing the ball leave the park like it was. But it didn't hit Schobel, and he should have warned them first before throwing the pitcher out. Who knows if it was intentional (I kind of doubt it to be that high). Avent wasn't going to let his guy get tossed like that without even a warning. Avent is theatrical, for sure, but he should have said his peace. The pitcher was not acting up or anything like that, he was just standing in the dugout, and they informed him that he needed to go out as well.
Will be interesting to see what transpires today.
